MACON FOOD: No one in Middle Georgia should sleep on Macon’s food scene. There are several downtown restaurants that offer memorable breakfast options, including H&H Soul Food Restaurant (of The Allman Brothers Band fame), Sweet Eleanors, and Taste & See. I unfortunately did sleep on one of the “newer” downtown restaurants, although it opened way back in 2021. Many of my friends have gushed about the delicious bagels served at Macon Bagels, but it somehow took me until last week to finally visit
