Most people think Celtic means Irish. But the Celts once ruled Europe. Around 300 BC, Celtic tribes stretched from Ireland to Spain, France, Britain, and as far as Turkey. They were warriors, traders, poets, and master craftsmen. Then Rome conquered almost everything. Languages faded. Cultures disappeared. Except one place. Ireland was never conquered by Rome. So the language survived. The myths survived. The identity survived. That is why when people say Celtic today, they usually mean Irish. T
